Our love story began in 2015. For two people whose days were filled with early mornings and long hours working on our family farms, it felt like fate when our paths crossed. If love at first sight truly exists, that’s exactly what it felt like for us. Our personalities blended effortlessly – Colin, calm, kind, and down to earth; Crystal, driven, caring, and spontaneous. Together we have found the perfect balance, a partnership rooted in love, respect, and shared dreams. In the summer of 2017, we tied the knot, writing our own vows and dedicating ourselves to one another. Together, we decided to take over Colin’s family farm, and ever since, we have been achieving goal after goal side by side. Our home is also our workplace. We are dairy farmers running a small operation, just the two of us. We milk 70 cows, but we care for a total of about 150, encompassing all ages. We own 600 acres of land where we grow feed for the cows and cultivate additional crops for sale. However, our farm offers more than just dairy production. We maintain seven beehives, providing us with an abundance of honey and wax to fill our home with candles during the dreary winters. We also have two dozen chickens, ensuring a daily supply of fresh eggs. Additionally, we care for five sheep that graze in a spacious pasture right in front of our house, allowing us to enjoy their company while we have breakfast each morning. Our family is rounded out by a Border Collie named Case and two cats named Lilly and Carrot.
